Aegis Draw Plus provides a powerful set of professional design tools in a simple, easy-to-learn format. It's the second step in our Computer Aided Design (CAD) software line. Draw Plus is perfect for architecture, landscaping, product design, graphic design, or any drafting work where precision drawing is required.

Here are just a few of the features:

Environment: Draw Plus is as easy and intuitive as a paint program but provides state-of-the-art micro CAD performance. You have your choice of 640x200 or 640x400 display resolutions. It makes full use of the Amiga environment with pull down menus, multiple windows, mouse input, and requesters. Each window can display a different drawing or different views of the same drawing. Each can display particular layers or have individual color combinations for backgrounds, rulers, and grids. A status line keeps you informed of all the current settings and Draw Plus remembers them between uses.

Precision: Draw Plus is precise. It produces drawings accurate to within 1/1000th of an inch. Measurements are displayed in either decimal or feet-and-inches fractions. The automatic dimension lines produce accurate numbers rounded to your desired level of precision. Objects can be lined up for exact placement either visually with the mouse or numerically from the keyboard. Numeric editing allows you access to every aspect of an object (height and width of a rectangle, angle of a line, radius of a circle, etc.).

Tools: Draw Plus gives you versatile tools. There are drawing tools like lines, rectangles, circles, ellipses, arcs, polygons, and freehand draw. You can type text directly onto a drawing and control its size. There are editing tools like rotate, drag, clone, resize, hook, and erase. You can cut, copy, paste, rotate, resize, erase, and distort areas of a drawing. Draw Plus also supports mirroring in 8 directions, arrays, parts, and automatic dimension lines.

Output: Draw Plus provides you with a variety of options for a drawing once it's complete. Most plotters are supported directly from a menu, and any printer listed in the Amiga Preferences menu can be used for a quick window dump or a more detailed Advanced Printing Technique drawing. You can create plotter files which produce plots independent of Draw Plus or even an Amiga. Parts lists can be saved to disk and drawings put in IFF (Interchange File Format) for use in high and medium resolution paint packages.
